We had our Grandson for the weekend much to the delight of Caitlin and Megan the big girl Aunties.
Lachlan had been at Sarah’s Aunts whilst Liam was born and unfortunately caught a Gastro bug whilst he was there, which he promptly brought home and gave to Jamie and Sarah on his return.
With Liam just coming home from hospital and Jamie and Sarah both with Gastro we looked after Lachlan who was just on the tail end of the Gastro bug.
We all had a great time and Lachlan was a delight to have!

With Wendy on her way home to Brisbane on Sunday we decided to have lunch at Volcano Joes which Peter has been suggesting that we visit.
So with the entire Herman clan and also Jamie, Sarah and Lachlan we attempted to do out best to eat as much as possible at this all you can eat restaurant before wandering back to Peter and Anna’s house for coffee.

Today Caitlin and Meg were baptised at the St Joseph Parish. Caitlin's Godparent was Aunty Fiona and Megan's Godparent was Aunty Wendy. Wendy had flown down from QLD especially for the event.
While Matt and I had planned to have the girls baptised for quite some time it was only recently, with the pressure of the upcoming school year, that we finally got ourselves organised enough to plan the event and subsequent lunch. The day was kept small just immediate family and our close friends Cheryl / Leigh and their girls Molly and Aylla who play special roles in the girls life.

Xmas 2006 saw 6 Herman households gather via plane, car, bicycle and several trailer loads of supplies for the annual family catch up, which this year was held in Warwick Herman's home town of Mallacoota.
The cool Xmas weather offered ample opportunities to catch up with family and long absent siblings, cousins and in-laws. Of course, a trip to Mallacoota is not complete without jaunts in the bush, big doses of sand and salt water at the beach and a boat trip on the beautiful Mallacoota lakes. Xmas is also a time to share gifts and check out all the new toys, which this year included Tonka Sal, the 4x4.

Time for an update
Yep, i'm a few months behind with the photos so i'll start with the most recent, being Megs Birthday and work my way back from there.
Continuing on with the children front, i've updated the Caitlin 3 to 3.5 years folder and created a Caitlin 3.5 to 4 years folder, for Megan i have updated her 6 to 9 month folder and created a Megan 9 to 12 month folder.
In the Herman occasions i have created a Wendy Visit folder (I have no idea when this was?) and also created an Alex Birthday folder.
Ummm what else?
